My Neighbor’s Keeper Inc. is an organization dedicated to serving low-income and underprivileged individuals and families who are at risk of losing the homes they have lived in for generations. Our mission is to provide support through financial assistance and access to valuable resources that help prevent homelessness and promote stability within our communities.
We also assist our neighbors with basic necessities such as utility support, food, toiletries, and clothing — ensuring they have access to essential needs during difficult times. Through compassion, service, and community outreach, we strive to provide comfort, hope, and opportunities for a better future as individuals and families navigate life’s ongoing challenges.

My Neighbor’s Keeper Inc was founded by Nedra Ceesay. This is her story…
“I moved to the U.S on my own at age 30, arriving in a place where I had no family and only a few friends. Like many others, I faced housing insecurity and sometimes struggled to afford basic necessities. I often had to decide which bill was more important to pay and which utility I could go without until I could pay it. Fortunately, as time progressed, I found stable employment and developed meaningful friendships. My friends supported me with rent, bills, and essential needs when my paycheck fell short.
I volunteered with a few a charities and became a part of a mutual group dedicated to assisting our neighbors. I witnessed firsthand the growing need for support in our communities. Inspired by the help I received from my friends, I felt compelled to give back by founding this organization . Our mission with My Neighbor’s Keeper Inc is to provide the same aid to neighbors in need by connecting them with resources, funding, and basic necessities.”
